MSU 2D shooter Project Final Submission

Final Submission for the MSU 2D Shooter Project Submission
- Designed and created 4 different levels which drive a story forward
- Created/drew all game elements (Includes player, enemies, their projectiles, barriers, backgrounds, UI screens, buttons, menu animations, character animations, projectile animations, etc.)
- Created new animations for all game elements if applicable
- modified the main menu to be more interesting
- altered all game audio to match theme and projectiles
- Created a special boss with a new set of health, different attack pattern, and projectile density, projectile speed, and fire rate
- altered game element health and damage of projectiles for better balancing
- Created a mini map in the bottom right corner and moved the score display to the bottom left to clear up player visual
- created new transitions between levels to assist in telling a light story
- added a comprehensive instructions page to the main menu
- added special death screens per level
- altered the in-game pause menu to better match the theme
- adjusted the level select screen to be more visually pleasing
